So, the big question is where are the snakes? Perhaps they are angered not to be attached in her mind.
so this is how she see herself. Her time with Jake has effected her more then anyone ever knew. she see herself as his daughter. or what she thinks she look like if she was his daughter. she deep down misses her “dad”

That said, her mental projection not having snake hair probably has something to do with her snakes not cooperating.
