Here’s the Patreon sticker of the month for last month! I’m sure if Medusa got a hold of all the Infinity Gems it would be pretty bad for everyone!
– If you’re enjoying Modest Medusa please consider supporting the comic by checking out my Patreon, Ko-fi or store! The links are right above this post. I really, really appreciate your support!
This arc has a lot of “You can do it” – “Nope” situations with Modest xD
Yeah, it does. I guess thats just where my humor is right now.
Funny thing is, I’m pretty sure Modest COULD use the legs just fine…up until she actively thought about it. It’s her mind, after all, so the legs probably functioned on autopilot right until the moment Modest became aware of her current form. If she continued NOT thinking about it, she’d ironically be better at it.
Same thing with people in life. You’re so good at a practiced skill, like walking or typing, that you don’t even need to think about it. But if you DO starting thinking about how you do what you do, it suddenly becomes a lot harder. The subconscious, when it has a schema to work with, is a lot better at doing things than the conscious mind is trying to think its way through every step.
Yeah. You can see this with babies who can crawl or walk, until they realize they’re doing it. Riding a bike was similar for me. I remember that really clearly.
Don’t worry Modest. We all struggle to get to our feet.
Toes are wiggly. Snakes are wiggly. Her snakes turned into toes.
But then wouldn’t she only have two on each foot?
Aighhhhh! More spies!
“I can’t do it!!!” “I’m sorry! I thought you could!”
Summary of my college career so far 😛
This is pretty much how I’d assume a complex problem solving mission would be tackled by most 10 year olds.
See? Positive thinking isn’t always enough! Heh heh.
She’s got legs, but she don’t know how to use them.
I can’t wait to meet her inner snakes ;D
“Jake, I don’t feel so good”
Aw. That would be a little sad. But you’d know she was coming back in a year, with her own movie even.
The way she looks reminds me of Jake’s niece.);
I am *sooo* glad for muscle memory whenever I have to front. >x.x;<
