Hey. Modestmedusa.com seems to be off to a good start. The first full day saw over 25,000 hits. That’s not even close to our best day on Drunk Duck, but it’s way above our average. Thanks everyone! My hope is that more and more of you will switch over from Drunk Duck, Webcomics Nation and Deviant Art in the coming weeks.
I’m still working out some stuff with the site (like figuring out how to make better navigation buttons), but I’m really interested in hearing your feedback and input.
Also, if you want to help out please don’t be afraid to hit those Like, Tweet, Reddit and +1 buttons. It really does help out a lot!
I hear ComicPress is pretty bad with that stuff. Maybe you should try comic CMS or something like that.
I may. It’s funny, I had all these people recommend Comicspress to me because it was so easy and everyone used it, and now that I’m using it I’m finding that everyone likes other platforms better.
I was never a fan of ComicPress. Too restrictive. I ended up writing my own CMS and have been very satisfied with it.
Yeah, I tried ComicPress and I wasn’t too… impressed with it. Switched back to free webcomic hosting, at least I found a decent one now.
Wait…..dont people who kill unicorns usually end up cursed in some way? I mean yea- it has a chainsaw instead of a horn, but still….its a unicorn =
Also, if you drink unicorn blood you live forever… I don’t think the myths apply here, since this unicorn is part chainsaw

Unless that Chainsawicorn disintegrates after it dies, assuming Jake manages to kill it, that’s going to be one nasty mess to clean up. Hope nobody at the ASPCA finds out.
I wonder if he’s going to pick up a shotgun after this, or at least a broadsword? He’s going to need something for the eventual Big-Nasty-Monster #2.

It did in the original drawing. I left it off for the comic because I knew I’d forget it.
I so much like this setup better, it’s easier to post comments and move on, it doesn’t take 40 seconds to load even with a direct trunk connection (f’ing DRUNK DUCK!!!). you can probably take the massive traffic from your first day on this site as a sign others like the new setup too it it continues. it’s smoother.
