Judging by the design, this is one of the valkyrie spirits (can’t recall what they’re called in Yeld) that come to claim the spirits of warriors who fell in battle.
One of them showed up to claim Marah before, when she was defeated by the Prince. However, as Marah isn’t from Yeld she’s *technically* immortal, so it’s not like she’s gone for good… but if memory serves, someone from Earth who “dies” in Yeld still goes through some sort of change when they revive, so this isn’t necessarily a good thing.
Wait. What? Valkyrie? How is she dead? No noticeable blood loss. Internal injuries? That monster chainsaw drain life force? Inquiring minds want to know. Love the second panel and the third isn’t bad either.
