But the horse is the only one who knows where the secret doorway back home is and you just got on its bad side. The ghost may have known too, but it’s dead now. (Yes, it was dead to start with but it’s been double killed and lost its hand as well.)
Is it just me or is Jake getting a greener shade to him? Has his monsterfication also started :O? Like the horse’s face in the second panel 🙂 shying away from the questions
Then how did he explain things to Modest, he was even moving his lips like he was talkin’ ? (Unless he’s Mister Ed. Ba-dum-tish!)
Anyway… FIND OUT IN THE NEXT EPISODE OF MODEST MEDUSA!
Murder Horse is secretly fluent in the language of medusa? (See: Snake. Also See: Parselmouth.)
That might make more sense, actually, considering how long he spent with a medusa.
Can someone help me out? I get that chainsaw horse is or was actually a nice guy, but wasn’t he ready to kill Jake and friends not that long ago? Was he under a compulsion then? I missed or can’t remember something to make sense of that. Thank you.
Well lets look at the whole thing from his angle. A little Madusa suddenly disappears, gone for at least a couple of months he tracks her down to the human world. I’m guessing he thought she was kidknapped or something and being hidden by Jake. So going berserk and lashing out at kidnapper… Chainsaw Unicorn turned into Liem Neison!
It hasn’t been directly explained, but when the CU returned to serve the Gorgon he fell heavily under her sway. This was part mind control, part devotion and part depression. He was in this state when he came to retrieve Modest from Jake’s home, and later when he killed Urano. It’s only since then that he’s been able to shake off the Gorgons control, and we don’t really know how he did this or even if he really did.
Should have used to Mister Ed rules of horse whispering! Plus it looks like he is turning a bit green there and taller cause horses are pretty tall and he’s eye level.
This is just a guess, but maybe CSU only attacked the first time because he didn’t have all the facts or was actually lied to. He was sent there by Momdusa and she’s not exactly trustworthy.
Maybe I’ve watched too much TV, but I read Murder Horse’s line with the same voice and emphasis of Roger in that episode of American Dad. Mhyyyyrrrrrrrrgh! Mhhyyyrrrrrrrrgh!!
I’ve actually come to like American Dad much more than I ever did Family Guy. Sure Family Guy is extremely quotable, but its got old very fast. To me, American Dad just stays funny.

I’m reminded of this scene from “True Lies”.
Well, the horse did have a point.
Many points, actually. Arranged along a chain wrapped around a blade.
don´t worry jake, as long as you don´t understand the horse´s answer you´re on the safe side!
I wonder if the horse happens to know Breehy-Hinny-Brinny-Hoohy-Ha?
Bree, for short.
It *would* be nice to have a translator.
After reading the entire series last night, I really hate having to wait for new comics. Keep up the good work Jake!
Thanks! Hopefully the wait won’t be too bad.
I’m surprised he can even neigh, because he looks like he’s a little horse.
(Ba da boom! Thanks folks, I’ll be here all week. Try the veal.)
So, did the Knight lose the ability to speak at some point or is he just ducking the question by pretending he can’t talk?
He in fact cannot speak anymore.
Then how did he explain things to Modest, he was even moving his lips like he was talkin’ ? (Unless he’s Mister Ed. Ba-dum-tish!)

Yeah I drunk to much coffee
Watch out for those caffeine hangovers.
That makes sense. I was just wondering if it had been explained in-comic and I missed it.

Thanks for the reply! Glad I checked back. 🙂

So over time the Knight of Chains has lost the ability to talk.
This is just a guess, but maybe CSU only attacked the first time because he didn’t have all the facts or was actually lied to. He was sent there by Momdusa and she’s not exactly trustworthy.

I get the feeling your reference makes more sense to people than the thing I referenced earlier.
Of course, American Dad came around about the time I swore off Family Guy.
I’ve actually come to like American Dad much more than I ever did Family Guy. Sure Family Guy is extremely quotable, but its got old very fast. To me, American Dad just stays funny.
“Isn’t it ironic? Don’t you think?” XD
The chainsaw is ironic. It is a ferrous metal, after all.
Wait… if Medusa talk to the horse why can’t Jake understand him??????? :/
If I had a nickel…
