Despite the playground actually looking like a prison exercise yard, complete with plodding convicts, the single, solitary element from Modest’s fantasy… the slide… is enough to keep that smile on her face.
It’s honestly kind of a mystery. I’ve been working on a pitch for an animation company and it’s become apparent that I need to figure out how Modest actually moves.

Oh! Those both look pretty good though! Honestly, it’s hard for me to visualize. I kind of imagine her just bounding everywhere, but that doesn’t make much sense!
It looks cold and moist, just like the school yard of my elemetary school. It leaks the swings, teeter-totters, toys and garden though.

On the other hand, our elementary school was sort of near the country, so the playground was pretty much: the woods plus swings and monkey bars. And it was awesome!
