ok, aunty naga is obviously a decent snake, and her mom must´ve been quite good too with how she found a place for all her kids to be taken care of, so why the heck did gorgon turned out to be such a monster?!
As seen in the previous strip, Naga’s mother found a Fairy family for her to live with, and she adopted into their family and was raised by them. Their son became her brother.
this proofs what Dragul said about the Hydra was bull-crap.
Why well because he said the adult life of a Hydra is often short but from this pic we see that Adult Hydra has the same life span as a human or a fairy.
Oh.. she’s at the end of her life.. which for reptiles is probably pretty dang long.
The second panel is one of the most adorable things I have ever seen.
😀 And YAY Aunt Naga is such a good Aunt ^w^
So when they get like that (old and big-single-snaky) they don’t get like that (cruel and vicious.) Good news for MM and the others.
Super cool that Auntia Naga came to help her neices.
Kinda sad though that she seems to be at the end of her life.
Her story is still quite touching.
You’ve built a wonderful mythology, Jake. I salute you imagination and story telling.
Thanks!

The Prince got to her. Making monsters is his schtick if you recall.
That’s 97% less tragic than I expected … thank God 🙂
Panel 3’s visual art kinda reminds me of Yoda. (it’s the facial expression and cane)
“Need you, they do. Just as our parents you had needed. To them, you go. The sacrifice, it is worth, yes?” 😀
I’m probably missing something obvious, but how is that her brother?

Yes, sorry, for some reason, I completely missed the previous strip. So this one came out a bit confusing. 🙂
I bet!
I adore the “you silly snake” line, in the last panel… Auntie Naga is a good snek.
“Need you they do as parents you did need. To them go. The sacrifice it is worth.”
Her brother is sort of rocking the Yoda look there.
She ate one of the kids, didn’t she?
She “was” at the end of her life, not “is”. And, we haven’t seen Xbox around at all. Yeah, we’re talking about a sacrifice in the literal sense.
Yeah, “the sacrifice,” has me cringing and bracing for something awful.
I have been enjoying this arc and loving Auntie Naga as a character. Love her backstory!
World building in this story is amazing
Thanks.

Well, their lifespan post having children is short. In addition, everyone’s lifespan is short to Dragul who has lived for millennia.
