It was so long ago that I had forgotten about it. I had created a fantasy queen and goddess called the Queen of Autumn. I think there was a map, but not much else. This was almost before gaming!
It looks a LOT like that pod-thing that the Mermaid Squad escaped in, after ambushing Jenny and getting themselves re-ambushed by the young Oathbreakers. The specificity of the design, almost like Jules Verne meets Death Gate Cycle, makes the two resonate strongly in my mind.
The pod (the mermaids had a name for it but I can’t remember so to me it’s just “the pod” lol), it stood out a lot to me when it appeared because it didn’t resemble anything else in the comic, lacking the fantasy vibe of Yeld but certainly not resembling modern Earth tech – well I guess it’s closer to Earth, maybe by way of the U.S.S.R. Cosmonaut program from early U.S.A./U.S.S.R. Cold War days…) so it gives a vibe that’s otherworldly even for the “otherworld” that it’s already in!
IDK, I could be way off, but I like thematic use of visual style in a story, whether as a mode of foreshadowing or for thematic purposes, and who says it can’t be both sometimes?
(Hi again, you can probably tell that I’m re-reading my way through the archives these past couple of days. It’s something that I do when I don’t have money for new books, re-reading stories I’ve read before and giving myself a chance to catch things, like these two objects appearing in the story within a comparatively small time and the (possibly entirely in my mind) similarities between them. Hey, at least you can’t imagine that I’m not engaging with the material!)
No, no, you’re absolutely right. Its a pod, sort of similar to the ones Shredder uses to get back and forth to the Technodrome in the Ninja Turtles cartoon. The Hand of Autumn uses it to come and go from the Tower.
Heck yes
It looks like a spaceship made a rough landing here. I know it’s not a Goblin craft so are the builders unknown?
Unknown atm.
Is it the same people/entities who made the Arsenal of Winter and they like the whole seasons theme?
I don’t want to say too much.
Very helpful of the tower to have its name floating above it in large letters like that.
More landmarks should do that, really
Yikes! I bet Sauron is jealous!
What are all those pipe-looking things?
Unknown
Are the “pipes” that surround the tower the same material, purpose, and/or origin as the crooked band around the top of the tower.
Probably. They were probably attached at one point, or maybe grew from the tower.

Are you willing to confirm/deny the existence of structures named after the remaining two American customary seasons?
Will neither confirm nor deny.
However, the upcoming Feb release for the Yeld patreon has a small clue.
