My only complaint is that vampires are just done to death… no pun intended. And this comic already has had enough vampires.

What other vampires does it have? I don’t recall any. I didn’t even pick up on Prince of Yeld being one, I just thought ‘oh it’s some kind of anime demon creature’ and gave it no further species speculation.
Urano, Vargas and the Prince are all Vampires. It’s mentioned once or twice, but it’s not a major plot point.
Isn’t one of the Asian vampire creatures more serpentine in appearance? It all suddenly makes sense now – possibly.

Modest asking the important questions.
Can Modest be any cooler to her classmates? A half vampire AND princess. That’s pretty much the top two things to kids.
The question is.. are all spiders vampires?
Well Gorgon had the same teeth when she was in this stage of her development, so if Modest has any vampire in her it’s not evident by that. But she could have other vampire traits theoretically.
Of course what are Yeld vampire traits to begin with? There are so many different versions of vampires out there with vastly different abilities and physiologies it’s hard to know what to expect. Some vampire fangs are hollow and are used to suck up/inject blood (and other stuff, again depending on the version) – Modest could easily have that ability and it wouldn’t show externally.
A vampire who loves chocolate… that sounds like Nina from the webcomic Eerie Cuties.
When it was first revealed that the children were all female and apparently identical, I figured that it meant that her kind reproduced without males. So I was kind of disappointed when the Prince claimed the Daddy role. (Also, I just don’t want to think about exactly how it was consummated.)
Quick, check for sparkles! Aversion to holy symbols! Silver, salt or holy water allergies! Hypnotic gaze! (Puppy dog eyes doesn’t count.) Attraction to blood! Anything!
