Well, she did ask. And it’s not like it’s a secret or anything.
How do they eat the teeth before they have teeth? And if he came by Tilly’s then obviously he can eat other things besides teeth.
Probably “swallow” is more accurate than eat.
I think if it goes into a mouth-orrifice and serves as some kind of sustenance, “eat” is perfectly legitimate regardless of whether there’s chewing involved or not. We humans “eat” soup, and can do so without teeth or any form of chewing, and snakes “eat” lots of things whole and without the assistance of any teeth or masticating.
I don’t think they actually consume them for sustenance though. I think they just like hoarding them. Like a dragon.
So what you’re saying is Tooth Fairies are their natural predators
Can you imagine that? A big Yeld Fairy hunting down these poor Toothfacers to get his teeth back?
I was thinking they ARE tooth fairies. Like, some of them were taught it’s bad to steal, so they started paying for the teeth.
