I thought it would be neat if Ms. Buttons also obviously has some badger heritage. Not a full badger head like her husband, but a clear sign that there’s a badger in her family. I imagine for them it was love at first sight.
I had to go back and check whether Marah had asked “the traveler” if she had encountered anyone on the way up the mountain and she hadn’t asked. It’s hard to believe that “the traveler” passed Ms. Buttons rather than walking up with her (safety in numbers). I guess it was a case of “I don’t have to outrun the lion; I just have to outrun you”.
Well crap
I was expecting another badger. Though she does have the hair for it.
I was not expecting Mrs. Buttons to be less furry than Mr. Buttons.
And here I was expecting a full badger head.
Good. She didn’t needed to go all the way down. Also, good, Ms. Buttons is ok.

Oh, good, she’s still alive. Not exactly a badger, though, is she? Takes all sorts, I guess.
Like her husband, she had badger heritage. One of her ancestors was a badger. Or maybe a skunk.
She has Wolverine hair!
