A little late. We got back from Dragonflight in WA late on Sunday. The show was fun, and I got to meet several of you. I’ll probably go again next year.
Thankfully my convention run is over for now. I’ve done 8 since March, all out of town. I get to rest now until late October, when I have Portland Retro Gaming Expo. But that’s right here in Portland. I can take the bus to it!
Losing only an arm is still an above average outcome for that encounter.
Well, that victory cost her an arm. Seems to be a half off deal, since the leg wasn’t lost too
Oh dear… D:
Um… I could be wrong, but I think you might need that.
Welp.
Well, good news is that the armor didn’t completely fall off. And, bonus, she’s not furry!… yet.
Well, that’s inconvenient.
It’s just a flesh wound.
too arms too arms…nah….seems just one…sigh
Couldn’t help reading back to Modest’s summer vacation, and noticed on page 260, Marah mentions that going back home might not fix all the “changes” she had. And Modest is all “but horns are cool” with Marah glancing at her gauntlet left hand going “Horns…yeah…” Cause that’s totally the change she’s worried about. Maybe her forearm just happens to be detachable now. I think that was the hand she used to grab the chainsaw…
Nothing to do with the chainsaw. She was warned that if she keeps using the armor after it was locked she can lose her arm. She did.
It was great meeting you!
Yeah! It was really nice meeting you too! Highlight of the show.
She’s taking this surprisingly well.
Either it doesn’t hurt or it doesn’t hurt more than it was before.
…Welp, that ain’t good.
Well, at least she’s all right now
…
Oh, sweet… Where’s her arm?!?!
That’s a gigantic weapon she has, but she’s still mostly armless
