Ah, so you decided not to disappoint huh?
Well… I didn’t really feel like we needed an extended scene to show what happens when Modest came back. There woudn’t be any surprises, and you could all guess what would happen. But it seemed wrong to not show anything at all.
But Modest doesn’t run, she slithers.
Modest gave in way too early. I wouldn’t believe her! =)
I was half-expecting Modest to get back and discover that Jake had found a way to get to Yeld to look for her. But I guess once the ghost thing couldn’t take him to Yeld he was out of options. At least they are reunited now!
That would have been a twist. But I wanted to wrap up this season neatly.
I was wanting to see the reaction when she tries to tell him about Marah and how she reacts to him knowing she’s alive. Though that does make me think the next adventure into Yeld is going to be helping her finish the job so she can come back.
