She might even be able to translate the binary given a few minutes with a paper and pencil (I learned about it in school; don’t see why she couldn’t have). Presuming that display remains static, of course.
Even just having watched a lot of sci-fi growing up could give her the context to understand a lot of signage on an English-labeled spaceship.
