Personally, I’m still wondering how much of the story she actually told. After all, kids tend to not be long-winded in school assignments like that.
I was probably a fairly short story, with lots of important context missing.
Of course she made the whole thing up.
She’s probably pretending to have snake hair and everything.

No. But they look similar. For a little bit I was considering having them be younger versions of those kids who eventually found their way to Yeld, but I decided against it (partially because the kids in the Yeld game are all different ages). So they look kind of similar. Gina (the mean one) is the cousin of Yeld’s Soulthief and Freelancer though. Theres a half completed comic thats intended as a bonus for the eventually season 5 book that has a line about Gina missing her cousins after they ran away.
