Wait a minute, Jake has a…uh oh.
“What? Thats not what we Toothfacers do at all. We trade our treasure for childrens teeth that fall or get knocked out accidenally. Then we take those teeth and trade them with Faeries for Magical bugs which we then use to help make baby toothfacers. Why would a walking talking bag full of bugs need to eat teeth? That’s sooooo weird.”
Is there such a thing as a toothfacer? Google isn’t helping me at all here.
I made it up.
A lot of people knew what he was called before this page. Were they mentioned before? I can’t find them.
He first appeared WAY back in a single panel in Season 2. In the footnotes in teh Season 2 book I refered to him as a Toothfacer. He’s actually a monster from the Yeld RPG, so some people may remember him from early drafts of that game.
That’s why you keep giant bees around, Modest. They keep the toothfacers away.
According to the season 2 book toothfacers are bags of bugs like the Oogey BoogeyMan from Nightmare before Christmas. So Bees would probably be a good thing.
Bags of bugs and teeth.
And finally the answer to why little children lose their teeth has been answered! TOOTHFACERS!
aw, and i though he was a rag doll. XD
he kind of reminds me of the janitor/guard guy from Hollow Fields.
I don’t think I know Hollow Fields.
I was thinking more Raggedy Princess from Adventure Time.
Da hell?….
Poor guys, so misunderstood 😉
There’s an Osmond Family joke hidden in here somewhere.
In Yeld Modest’s mother became a giant snake monster. Living in our nonmagical world will Modest stay a medusa?
Maybe.
I ascribe that Negative emotions cause the human side and thus medusa side to “Wither away” and as long as Modest doesnt give in to those feelings she’ll grow up to be classic medusa rather then a basilisk which incidentally both have eye powers. hmmmm
That’s the Tooth Fairy—and she pays cash for what she eats.
Maybe he’s a reformed toothfacer. That guy in panel three looked way fatter than him. He probably hasn’t snacked on a tooth in a least a week.
Having five mouths she’ll be way ahead of the competition.
Toothfacer:”You’d know all about bad guys. You’re mom and dad are both evil after all”
