Modest: I’m collecting unwanted clothes for the orphans of Yeld! Anything, any size – it’ll fit something!

Prince Dragul: A garment shop? She has set one up here, in the Forest of Yeld, selling classic and modern styles off the peg at affordable prices?! Why wasn’t I informed earlier? This is a threat not just to my power, but to my credibility! I must confront this before it is too late!

Modest: Hi dad! Can I interest you in some new armour? Kevlar-reinforced plates are so much lighter than steel, and a lot quieter in use. One thing though… *points to signs: “No codpieces -they are outmoded and silly.”*
Assembled customers: *start sniggering, laughing and pointing at Prince Dragul’s armoured codpiece*
Prince Dragul: *stiffens* I am too late… *grinds teeth*
