It’s not unreasonable. I mean, no one’s going to eat their eyes.
How does the ghost know Jake and Will?
Jake has met it before. It lives in the house that used to belong to their mother. A few strips ago Will mentioned that he also lived there after returning from college. When the Ghost met Marah in Season 2 it new her and mentioned that it remembered her from when she would visit Jake’s mother and hang out with her uncles.
It’s just a jump to the left
And then a step to the right
With your hands on your hips
You bring your knees in tight
But it’s the pelvic thrust
That really drives you to Yeld

In tentacleface’s defense (and Jake’s mom’s), it used to also be an adorable looking child.
It’s like reverse vampire rules!
Minor typo: I assume Jake’s not visiting versus OT visiting. Over Time Visiting would be kinda cool though, time and a half gets a lot of bang for your buck while visiting family.
Could be they’re Old Testament visiting, and he’s prepared to deliver the Wrath of Father Figure if shenanigans are afoot.
Was this ghost thingee from one of the book-only comics?

This isn’t going to be one of those things where Jake goes into Yeld, and at the same time Modest comes back out through the toilet-portal back home, is it? 😉 lol
You missed an “N” in the third panel: you wrote “We’re ot visiting.”

I guess a lot of people would relocate from Yeld, if only they could.
