– I’ll be at Geek Girl Con in Seattle on the 27th and 28th. I hope to see some of you there!
– The digital version of The Magical Land of Yeld is now on sale at DrivethruRPG/RPGNOW. It will also be on sale on the Modest Medusa store and Indie Press Revolution later this week. So if you didn’t get the game during the Kickstarter, you can get it now. The book version will be on sale in early December.
– Here’s a version of the “Late Again” Medusa that you can download and do art to. Send it back to me and I’ll add it to the rotation!
Whoah, don’t waste time on his dying speech, slither over to Auntie Naga, she might still be around to deliver one too, and she deserves it more!
One of the rules of being a competent hero/surviving any scenario like the above: Don’t turn your back on your enemy until you’re sure they’re dead or incapacitated to the point that they’re actually harmless to you.
Knowing Medusa, she’ll find a solution for everybody and it will end in Pokemon battles to decide the champion of the Yeld region
huh
I’d feel a lot more sympathy for him right now if he’d made this case earlier rather than jumping straight to the “kidnap the kiddos by force” plan.
Yeeeeep.
I agree.
yes-that would have been a much better approach, though I don’t think that crosses your mind when you are faceless
Well said, although his ultimate plan was still “turning children into figureheads of the state”. That seems like something that gets pretty sketchy no matter how you go about it. I do like that his motive is desperation, rather than just being a complete evil bastard.
I have to agree. Hard for me to feel for him at this stage in the game.
Kidnapping kids to force them to live in luxury isn’t the worst thing you can do, but it’s still kidnapping. Besides: hurting (killing?!?) Auntie Naga was the last straw.
“Like you took our aunt?”
what
*bleh*
Jake if you are ever up for an award for writing I will go or if my way to vote and try and get other people I know to vote for you.
Thanks!
If i am reading the right, seems that this creature believes that if he returns Medusa to the powers that be then all will be well in the Kingdom? Anyone care to comment?
So is he dead? Or just tuckered out?
On my second read through, because of the way the speech balloons go – now I’m imagining the Abolisher *actually* saying “Cough. Co-Cough”
Also, Cough is spelled weird.
