Alright, this is my last post for a bit. As I mentioned last time, Ill be out of town for about 2 weeks attending a convention, and then taking a short vacation on the way back. It will be a very welcome break. I don’t think you should expect the next strip until the 15th of August. I did prepare a special post for Monday, so make sure to check that out! I may do some odds and ends posting on Blusky, tumblr and discord in the meantime. Not sure.
I hope you all have a nice few weeks. I’ll be back in mid August to wrap up this season!

Oh ho ho, Marah is threatening!
Have a nice time!
Those are good questions.
For a hot second she was on the path to Furry Marah’s route… but she found the secret dialog option.
“Furry Marah” is really funny.
I read that initially as Fury Marah
She’s monologuing! Nothing good comes from monologuing!
imagine if it turns out all the other people from earth Are still alive, just all in one town or something
They all hang out in Earthville, talking about Star Trek all day
There is in fact a small Witch coven full of kids from Earth (and children of kids from Earth) that tries to recreate an Earth like living environment. We talk about them a little in the game. They’re called the Terra Coven
“You might not be ready, but I AM”
Right, she hasn’t met those kids who help out Modest later yet, has she? Even then, very good questions! How “immortal” are you really?! Wanna stress test it?!
Yeah, she hasn’t. There are more people from Earth running around than she thinks, but its probably less than a dozen. And Yeld us a big place.
“Hey vampire punk, you’ve gotta ask yourself one question: “Do I feel lucky?” Well, do ya, punk?”
This is a magical chainsword, the most powerful weapon in Yeld… probably. 🙂
I am so enjoying the way this story arc is proceeding. And your artwork just keeps getting better. Last panel is profound.
Thanks!
This is the last day of your undead life.
For me, it is Tuesday.
The notion that vampires cannot be killed by conventional means was a lot more compelling in the days before conventional means included weapons capable of rendering them into a pink mist or even component atoms.
This is true. Yeld’s Vampires are very hard to kill, but there is a lot of things, even in Yeld, that can kill them. I think what makes them really scary is their long lives and positions of power, which allow them to more easily control teh kind of conflicts they get into. They don’t have to worry about running into some kind of Vampire shredding war machine because they control al the war machines and have outlawed anything that can shred Vampires. Their opponents are largely left with tools that aren’t particularly effective against them.
