– I hope you’re all safe and healthy this week. I’m sure the advice in this comic isn’t anything new for you, but since the Coronavirus was on my mind and theres not much I can really do about it, it at least felt good to make this short comic.
I’m continuing to work on the script for the next Modest Medusa season, and hope to be able to start drawing it soon. Writing the comic this way (script first) has been a challenge, and everything thats happening in my life in the world has been a hell of a distraction. Thank yo all so much for your patience.
Chocodiles boost your immunity.
They provide you with a lot of sugar, which your body converts into energy, which in term is needed in generous amounts in order to fight a virus and tolerate the people in your household!
so many people playing n33t simulator 2020.
still working myself. dunno if thats lucky or not yet.
In this comic, such a pandemic could get even worse – a number of characters, starting with Modest, have the potential to bring a virus from one world to another.
I’ve lost count of how many times this has been a plot point in sci-fi. Yet it still doesn’t get old.
Actually, Modest touches everything. Now she has an excuse to keep all the stuff she steals, giving it back might spread the virus.
She’s also a butt toucher.
“Turn the page. Wash your hands.” —“Rocko’s Modern Life,” many many years ago.
Oh, my gosh. I’ve been thinking of Filbert the turtle for daaays, now, thanks to everyone being like, “wash your hands, wash your face, wash your soul!”
Looks like I’m not the only one, ha hah~
I laughed so hard when I watched that episode, it was one of the funnies (and really short!) bit on it. Still laughing. (He was a hypochondriac, eh?)
Wash your hands and your snakes too, they’re always touching things.
Can Modest even contract human diseases? On the other hand, Covid-19 is a mutated animal virus. Yet, it’s a mammalian virus, and Modest isn’t exactly mammalian, is she?
She may be? Who knows? Better safe than sorry.
I’ve just been burying my head in the sand, as it were, but any time I peek out, I keep getting hit with reminders of what’s going on. I’ve seen reminders (and advice) from a number of unexpected locations, but this was just about the last place I expected it to come from…
you can’t keep mass hysteria going without everyone doing their part you know.
just follow the same guidelines been told for decades about the flu and this will not be the end of the world believe it or not.
Its more complicated than that. This isn’t just a flu, and requires more precaution and more public awareness and responsibility.
thanks for the info Modest
