In the mood for something tasty? How about a Modest Medusa/Delicious in Dungeon crossover? MM reader Glucifer introduced me to the excellent delicious in Dungeon manga (also knows Dungeon Meshi) a few years ago, and I’ve been a huge fan ever since. It’s a dungeon crawler/cooking manga with a great cast of characters, and I highly recommend it! Don’t worry, Laois may be curious about what Medusa hair tastes like, but he’d never hurt Modest!

Awesome
Meh, I’ve always been on the american comic book side.
You’re missing out. There are tons of amazing comics from all over the world.
I hear the dungeon cooking manga may be getting an anime soon axtually.
yeah, I’ve seen some stills from it.
I haven’t read Delicious in Dungeon. But this picture does remind me of the cooking mini game in Dragon’s Crown.
Well. Seems I have a new wallpaper. ‘Cause, big-howdy, that’s a cool one!
nuuu Bad Barbarian! Nuuuu eat snek!
That actually brings up an important question. If a non-hydra individual eats a hydraling does it extend their lifespan any? If so, why aren’t there semi-immortal poachers roaming Yeld?
It doesn’t. Even for hydra it requires some serious black magic spell casting. So its not just like popping a chewy little medusa snack.
Does this mean that to extend the lifespan of a non-hydra they need to black magic cannibalize their own species or that only hydra can do that? Also, Medusae aren’t chewy, you swallow them whole. Note: This only works if you are REALLY BIG otherwise eating a Medusa is going to take a long gruesome time.
*I am not planning to actually do this. With or without the blessing of my order I am still a paladin first and foremost.
There may be similar spells for non-hydra, But the one Dragul found and used on the Gorgon was Hydra specific.
Does Modest count as the dragon?
No. But… hydra are children of the Serpent God, and so are Dragons. So Modest would have some distant dragon cousins, if there were any dragons left.
So, this means you aren’t counting Crosis for some reason? I like the idea of a little hydraling looking around for her cousin Crosis but not realizing that she is sitting on him.
Crosis is probably dead by now. At this point the kids from the Yeld RPG ave been in Yeld for a few years, so they’ve probably already dealt with Crosis and one or two other Hunters of Yeld.
That is a cute idea though.
“Crosis, where are you? They said you were around here somewhere!”
Where does Crosis keep his Hunter’s key? It can only be retrieved when he is dead but he doesn’t seem to have any pockets. Do you have to dissect him looking for it? Is it hidden inside a giant false tooth? Is it stuck under a nail and he is always annoyed because he can’t get it out from under there?
I think it might appear by magic once you defeat him. It also may be tucked away in the Fairy Forge somewhere. Or maybe he did swallow it?
Okay, sure. I was thinking it’s a dungeon…gotta have a dragon to go with it, right? Or at least, something dragon-ish.
Of course!
Hydraling: Where are you?
Crosis: I’m right here!
H: Where?
C: LOOK DOWN!
H: There’s just this really uneven tile floor, looks like big blue disks. Are you under the lava?
C: What do you mean tiles?
H: These huge curved blue plates with jagged edges. What with the sloped floor and the lava who built this place
C: Oh, now I know where you are.
H: Are you under one of them?
C: OW! NO! Well yes, JUST STOP PRYING THEM UP!
We reallies needs to read that. Especially since the kitty froms the one-shot got introduceds to the ongoing. >o.o<
