Not gonna lie, I kinda dig them having that card on the backburner in the slim chance of them losing when they had such a heavy advantage.

She let Marah to have it. I suppose this was the first use, and Cbar ecpects it to be the last.
I wouldn’t be too surprised if there is also a «you won» card still stored there.

Cbar is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns.
I think the card flip is a magic item that lets them transcribe one thought at a time.

Cbar kinda reminds me of Kit-Kat from Hudson Hawk.

I have actually never seen it. Although I do remember when it came out.
I kinda wish that just for a moment, while both of the are standing right there in humanoid form and distracted, Marah considered slicing through them both. She’ll never get another chance like this. It’d be totally reasonable to think, even if she doesn’t act on it

I assume that Cbar keeps that card prepared at all times, just in case.
Admittedly, that is probably one you want to be able to pull out at a moment’s notice.
