– So we used to have Bees. they lived in the wall of my room (before it flooded and I moved across the hall). Sometimes in teh summer they’d get in through a little hole in teh window screen and I’d wake up and the room would be full of bees. Terrifying.

She probaly saw a documentary with a close-up of the bees or that episode of Spongebob when they saw a butterfly for the first time
I just remembered the episode of Sealab 20212 when one of them wanted killer bees the size of cats. I think he killed someone when he told him they where having problems making them.
aaaaaaaaaand I caught up
GRARRR
Just for reference, waking up in a room full of bees, giant or otherwise, is pretty much the most terrifying thing I can possibly imagine.
Serial killers, ghosts, demons, no problem. But bees? That’s scary.
Japanese susumebachi (“swallow-wasp”), which are wasps roughly the size of a humming bird, are the most terrifying creature on the planet earth.
Modest’s imagination is adorable. XD And Charles is very understanding. Brownie points to him for being an awesome uncle!
Charles is the best father. I bet he can put a slide show together in five minutes demonstrating why bees aren’t terrifying. {unless you have a bee allergy like me}
Also in case anyone is curious day five of my search for financial assistance to help me survive until i can start working a job and earning paychecks and still surprisingly no luck. So if anyone has some spare luck they can wish toward me i’d appreciate it.
All the luck in yhe world to you. What kind of work are you looking for?
Right now i’ve just got to figure out a way to make six hundred a month
three fifty for rent
one forty for electricity
sixty one for internet
however much it costs to get to and from w0rk.
And the rest will go to ramen noodles to live off of
Good luck, man!
Beedrill was badass much better than that 3 headed honeycomb thing
Heh. . I really like Combee
“Can’t sleep clowns will eat me.” Sorry, that gets me every time. ;P Medusa is doing great~ 🙂
Okay, can anyone see bees that big as NOT terrifying?
People who’ve played Super Mario Galaxy
Bumblebees are fuzzy and friendly and cute. It’s hornets and wasps you have to watch out for. Yellowjackets are just dicks.
“What’s the buzz? Tell me what’s-a-happenin’!/What’s the buzz? Tell me what’s-a-happenin’…”
(No apologies to Webber *or* Rice.)
Great timing on this one! Thanks for the laugh, man. It was much needed!
That is hilarious and adorable. To quote Simon of the Yogscast: Bees are evil.
I love the way she just kind of measures the size. Given the distance people try to keep between them and a bee, they may as well be that large.
considering her size difference from most people i can see how things would appear bigger to her, even if she hadn’t seen em before. and as long as mara doesn’t come back as come kind of Valkyrie bee hybrid she’ll hae nothing to fear!
I wonder if HP Lovecraft ever had that problem, but his editor sent The Bees in the Walls back for a major rewrite, leading him to decide that a tale of rats in the walls and an ancient cannibal legacy would work better. >:=)>
Modest: No, having rats in the walls isn’t scary at all… it’s just making my hair unmanageable – and fat! *sigh* You want me to go and lie next to the rat-hole again, don’t you? Fine! Hopefully you’ll gobble them ALL up this time! :-p
Some of my relatives are dealing with a bee infestation right now; the guy will come to take care of them next week. Or is “infestation” the right word?
Occupation?
Insurgency. (Armed terrorists trying to chase out the governing Authority and establish their own.) My mom had a similar problem a couple of Summers ago.
The bees from Inuyasha are scary because they are poisonous and would probably kidnap you, or sting you to death. I can see how scary that is.
Pfffft ha! Awww ♡
I am thoroughly disappointed in this comment section. We’re on a chapter titled “bees”, which is about being afraid of bees and not one of you have made a “Not the Bees!” reference.
I know.
