Well, at least the Lady badger apologized for her faux pas, that’s something. Still, I can’t help but think of Gilgamesh Wulfenbach in early “Girl Genius” right now…
I went back to Lady Bell’s introduction, and… she had originally introduced herself as “Lady Emmra Bell of Borroh Droh”. Had we known about Barroh Droh being the floating castle of the Drudge Angels, we’d have known her identity from the get-go… https://modestmedusa.com/comic/loaded/
Sure, sure. I mean, I do that (or fail to do that) all the time.
At the beginning of the season I really thought it would be super obvious. And while I didn’t expect Modest Medusa readers to get the reference to Barroh Droh, I thought a Yeld reader would mention it. I was also sure that someone would notice that they have the exact same colors.
FYI, today’s Modest Medusa strip is turning into Monday’s MM strip. Its another larger strip, so its just taking longer. Part of it is I got distracted playing Metal Slug Tactics.

I am just hyped for an early comic and Marah getting some cake :]
Yeah, I’d be angry if I were in Matt’s place, too.
Admittedly, though, it couldn’t have played out better. It was a real world test instead of a manufactured one as intended.

Uh huh.
Its mentioned in the Yeld ttrpg. I’m surprised no one caught it. There were other clues too. I actually thought I was being to obvious.
You’d be surprised how often people have everything they need to connect the dots, but still miss it until someone else connects it for them.

Well, I couldn’t have caught it because I don’t have the Yeld ttrpg ^^” but I did find the shared color scheme and speech bubbles suspicious.
Yeah, I knew people who hadn’t read the rpg would have no way to get that reference. That’s actually what Matt’s line in teh last strip is about.
Generally, if you think you’re being too obvious, you’re probably being subtle enough
Looking at the armor, replacing her arm, how much of Urano was even left under it?
Were they lucky, or were they awesome?

Okay, thanks for the heads-up!
