– I’ll be participating in Comics Underground tonight at the Jack London bar in downtown Portland. Come by and watch my friends and I do a live reading of the first 20 or so MM strips. Should be fun!
– Someone asked me if the Modest Medusa Season 1 book is still for sale. Yes, it is! Please buy it! You can get both the hardcover Season 1 book and the Coloring Book from my store!
– The next update will probably be a little late. These big pages seem to take about as long as four or five of the normal ones. Look for the page late Friday or some time on Saturday.
We no complain… big pages hard… take time
Darn! I’m late again?!
Oh Jake, you definitely been hanging out with Ben for sure, as you’re now officially on Asian-Time with us! Because when you hangout with an Asian you’re late due to association, lol ;p
It can’t just be that, because I’ve been late all my life. Must be my tiny bit of Native American heritage. Proto-Asian heritage, yo. Hanging out with Marah got me there as well. She’s a whole bunch of Chinese.
The ever-present question.
Anywho, bout that Vita thing, Jake, does it play old PSP games? (like FFT:WotL) because that is my only concern. Being a big-time Nintendo guy, I’ve gotten very used to the notion of “THE NEW BIG SYSTEM WITH ALL SORTS OF AMAZING WIDGETS AND GIZMOS… buuuuut can’t play anything from two generations ago…”. You’d think the WiiU (a system I don’t have, but want, cuz I’ma sheep.. baaa) would STILL be able to play GC games? Probably Nintendos best running system, and now it, like all else in gaming, is obsolete and (I shall stop here cuz I feel a rant boiling over and don’t wanna bore you all with the details)….
Long story short, can the Vita play old original PSP games?
Yes and no. It has no UMD drive, so any of your old discs are out. But if you bought your games digitally you’re good to go. And most of the old PSP games are available digitally from the Playstation store. I’ve been pretty broke since I got my VITA back in September, so I’ve limited myself to just a few games (Gravity Rush, Persona 3 and Dynasty Warriors), but there’s a ton of old PSP games that I never got to play that I’m really excited about. And the VITA itself is just a beautiful system. It’s the most impressive handheld I’ve ever seen. My iPad and 3DS are getting dusty.
Damn! I’m a disk person. Bugger all. Thanks for the info. Got more from that paragraph than I did trying to search myself.
Yeah, me too. And yet, I was foolhardy enough to spend perfectly good money on digital editions of games that I already own, such as Tactics Ogre, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, resident Evil 2 and Legend of Mana. =
It is pretty fun. but I maximize my output by sharing a PSN ID with my brother, and buying games digitally, that way we can play ad hoc multiplayer games with only buying one copy of the game, especially since neither of us tend to go online with our Vita.
Always prop the mysterious and/or creepy door open when you go through it.
Zombieland rule, I believe. Forgot which one.
I know the hinges are on the same side as he is, but did he try pushing the door? Things don’t necessarily have to be as they seem in this world. (Or our world, for that matter. People can be pretty ingenious when they want to.)
Of course, if the door is closed for story reasons, then investigation wouldn’t bear much fruit.
That stone idol reminds me of Domo-Kun, and I love the spooky forest color scheme you’ve got going on here.
Silly boy – it’s a push door! =)
Wait….if he’s on the side with the hinges…why doesn’t he just remove the hinges?
Lack of a crow bar or any real tools would be my guess. He doesn’t appear to have the same pocket full of random tools as I sometimes do.
They are magic hinges that can’t be removed.
A wizard did it.
It is a magic door.
In that case, did he try… Oh, it’s no use. I posted my question in the wrong spot!
Or you could just, you know, WALK AROUND the door.
😀
i’m going to say this cause it would be awesome… what if that guy was the chainsaw unicorn?
this kinda reminds me of a movie called little nemo (not the fish) dream-master (not the captain of the nautilus)
That sounds kind of familiar. I think I may have seen that.
In that case, did he try knocking?
he forgot it’s a one way door didn’t he…
(Stupid! LOL xD)
that was mean… I’ve donre that myself too, sadly. 🙁
He wont get away with his lucky Charms ;D
