– I’m still sorting out stuff for the end of this season, which is why you get a picture of a teenage Medusa cosplaying as Hatsune Miku instead of a real strip today. Claire Johnson requested Medusa as a vocaloid at… Stumptown (I think?), so here she is as the most famous vocaloid. I was going to try to come up with an original vocaloid design, but nothing was really coming to mind. maybe you guys can come up with something?

I vote for “Miku Medusa”!
For these reasons:
-“medusa” seems to gravitate to being a second name for these daughters of the Gorgon, particularly after they get an individual name.
-We can keep the initials “MMD” from “miku miku dance”.
I remain unconvinced Modest would be able to move well if at all with her lower half encased. Her lower “scutes” scales need to be able to flex against the ground for traction and basic movement.
I hope you put this in the next book so I can look at it whenever.

But wait… If she’s teenaged…. doesn’t that mean, based on the backstory, that her snakes would be longer, thicker, and sentient?
Unless the life cycle functions differently because she’s in our world, as opposed to Yeld. Frankly, I hope that’s the case. I’d be more then slightly saddened to see Modest wither and die to be replaced by a basilisk.

Oh my gosh. I wish I had thought of this at Sakuracon when I picked up my book. Gotta keep this in mind for season 3’s book, because I want a sketch of that! Or twirl her snakes up just a bit and make her Kasane Teto! Hmm, great possibilities here…
