I guess Modest has never met a dog before. We’ll see how it goes!
Guess what? My newest game is coming to print later this month! The mermaid dating game Mer X Maid is now available for preorder, and will be shipping at the end of June! The full color 24 page book comes with 4 character cards, and includes full rules, instructional comics, lore and plenty of art! As a special bonus, preorders will include an hand drawn 6 x 6 inch original mermaid sketch by me!
You can Preorder Mer X Maid now for just $12!
I really appreciate your support and I hope you love the game!

hope the dog doesnt get stoned.
Who doesn’t want a free statue to remember their dog by?
Well I just had a Futurama flashback, thanks for that
Doesn’t work outside Yeld, remember? She had a breakdown when her snake bit, I think it was Gene, way back when.
Young venomous snakes always release poison when they bite, but as they get older, they tend to conserve venom when biting defensively, so that about half of bites are dry. When people are bitten by adult venomous snakes, the hospital always waits to see if there is a reaction to the bite before giving antivenom (antivenom is absurdly expensive, and can sometimes produce an allergic reaction). So we don’t know for sure it doesn’t work outside of Yeld. After all, Jenny’s magic works outside of Yeld.
I do find the idea of the older couple setting their dog statue just outside the front door, like a stone lion guarding the door, to be amusing.
Or there simply was no stoning intent that time…
This is it.
Hope Modest isn’t hungry.
Who let the dog out!?
Who? Who, who, who, who?
I guess the lady doesn’t like Modest much.
Maybe she just wants some entertainment? Or hopes Modest will hose off the dog & they can skip a bath? 🙂
There’s also her reaction “Oh. Her” on the previous page.
