– Come see me at Northwest Comics Fest in Salem next weekend (August 15th and 16th). I’ll be tabling with my friends Micah and Jaymz, so you can check out their cool stuff too! Should be fun!

There must be more than one kind of ghost in Yeld if Modest thinks Meg can share a room with one and not have her brains eaten.
And it won’t be today – it’ll be tonight.
Uhms… Yeld canon as ofs the release of the book is thats ghosts don’t *start outs* like that, but they end ups like that if they stays outsides the Ghost World for too longs. If that wasn’t the case whens the comic was written, Rei woulds guess she’s thinkings of ghosts froms our fiction. *Mews.*
Say, how much does Modes weigh, anyway? Will she collapse the bed?
She’s pretty heavy, but I don’t think she’s that heavy.
Well, she is catching the concept of cleaning, it would appear. She is smart, though. We know that.
Inspiration… implementation. There’s just no planning stage for Modest.
She cannot be stopped
I remember I used to have a bunk bed. I mostly preferred to drape a blanket over it and turn it into a fort.
Classic use.
Most kids I knew who had one used it as an extension of the floor or bookshelves or whatever. It would be a bit of work cleaning them for a guest.
It’s where I kept all my dirty laundry.
Modest: Oh? Why not today?
Meg: I hadn’t really thought about it… and we’ll need to ask our parents.
Modest: *exits* Hey, Jake! Ekan- er, Meg’s mom! Can I sleep over here?!
Meg’s mother: Sure… if that’s okay with you, Mr. Richmond.
Jake: It’s fine, I guess.
Modest: Yay!
Meg: Okayyyyyy…
Or did Meg have other plans?
Modest: Oh? Why not today?
Meg: I have other plans.
Modest: What… did you want to stay over at my place instead?? :-s

She’ll grow up to be that kind of TV character that just walks in to your appartment, pours herself a glass of juice and then never goes home.
Now role credits!
“‘That’s My Gorgon!’ was filmed in front of a live studio audience.”
And yet still beloved like Joey Tribbiana or Barbara Jean.
Modest is going to become the queen of Sweden (http://www.galactanet.com/comic/view.php?strip=432)?
Her new role model.
Dude! Casey and Andy! That takes me back! Loved that comic.
Casey and Andy was a fun comic. The author has a movie coming out this fall.
Wait, WHAT!? A Casey and Andy movie? Or is it one of his other projects?
Earlier…
Teacher: Oh, you brought extra sandwiches. I’ll eat one.
Now…
Modest: Oh, you can have friends spend the night. I’ll go get my stuff.
This is what she is learning at school.
Your tax dollars at work…
Does Modest Medusa no longer update on Mondays?
It does. But I think this is the 3rd week in a row I’ve missed Monday. It’s been a bad summer. I’m hoping to get back on top of stuff next week.
No worries. You’ve been busy with so many conventions and such 😉
I’d noticed too, but I’m still reading all the stuff from Artist’s Alley, so no problem. I do miss the strip, yes, but I have much other stuff to read, including the new Archaeology Magazine.
I don’t want to make it a habit, but 100 little things have conspired to make this summer difficult. Hopefully next week will be a return to 3 strips a week, and it will stay that way for the rest of the year.
Don’t sweat it, Jake. I’m currently working my way through a back-log of once favourite web-comics (Gunnerkrigg Court, Sam & Fuzzy, Looking for Group. PS238, Questionable Content, That One With The DC Preschoolers (and Google provided with JL8)) that I lost in the Great Crash of 2012 so it’s not like I’m counting only on you for my regular fix.
Although…
I have to say some of the preiously mentioned titles have lost a certain amount of lustre since I discovered a certain snake-haired girl.
But no worries, I’ll get by. 😉
Missing updates is a sure way to lose audience. I’ve learned that in the past. I’ll be posting a double strip tomorrow to make up for Monday.
