I’m sure many of you noticed there was no new strip last Friday. I ended up taking the day off to spend with my siblings on their birthday. So here’s an extra sized strip to make up for it.

Eventually a vampire would get tired, they have to eat now and then, eh? They’d still win any marathon against any human. Maybe not horses or centaurs?
The force field doesn’t block light, sounds or scents (presumably). Interesting.
Yeah, eventually they would get tired. Yeld’s Vampires are much stronger and resilient than humans, but their big thing is that they have vast stamina reserves. they can just keep going and going. Eventually they’ll need to rest, but it can take days, or even weeks before that happens. And consuming blood gets them going again immediately.

Well “all day” isn’t true. The sun will have something to say about that.
Yeld vampires don’t need to worry about that turns out. They don’t really have weaknesses. It’s kinda absurd.
The big one reminds me a bit of Kai from Lexx, not sure why. Maybe because they’re similarly immortal and dress a bit similar, even if their level of deadliness and attitude are very different.
Kai also seemed pretty overpowered, his weakness was that he had a limited supply of protoblood and would cease functioning when he runs out.

Uh, does the old guy/Chainsaw Unicorn have a name?
Not that we’ve seen. His name is probably Matts, since thats the name of teh reader who his appearance is based on.
Do they still fear the sun though?
They don’t. Yeld’s Vampires are marginally weaker during the day than night, regardless of exposure to the sun. But its very minor.
