– The end of our interlude! We’ll have some fun filler over the next week before we rejoin Marah and the Pirates for the second half of Season 7!
It’s a secret to everyone – everyone who doesn’t have access to the internet that is.
Maybe it’s fanfic under a pseudonym?
It’s a reference to the original Legend of Zelda. If you bomb a certain wall you reveal a hidden cave occupied by a single Moblin who says “It’s a secret to everybody” and gives you some rupees. (In the original Japanese, the Moblin is telling you that his hiding place is a secret, and pays you not to tell anyone about it.)
Yep. I used the reference in season 2 as well.
I just noticed the snake hair is getting really friendly.
Ekans has a really intense stare in panel 3 there lol. She’s seen some things.
“She stares into your soul. She looks you over.”
yeah. I actually had to redraw it because it was even more intense originally.
I just love how unabashedly recursive and meta this comic is!
Just a secret to everyone in their universe.
Aw, I liked this side story 🙂
I’m willing to bet it rhymes with corn. 😉
It rhymes with … um… with… “Bent Tie”!
Curry Bent Tie.
Oh, oh… he has a job drawing furry porn! Oh, wait, I used to have that job, and there is no money in it.
That was actually the alternate gag I was considering. But I decided it wasn’t fit for an all ages comic.
Someone’s been looking at their web analytics again I see
He draws the little comics for The New Yorker, but he’s embarrassed to admit it because… ya know… it’s The New Yorker.
He draws plans for bank robberies.
I don’t get that “it’s a secret to everyone” joke but I still laughed.
Its a reference to the original Zelda game. In the game there was a secret cave with a monster who would give you a bunch of coins. He would also say “Its a secret to everyone.”
I really hope The End is just The End….of the side story
Nope. Goodbye forever.
I’m kidding of course!
