– Sorry for the delay. This was supposed to be Monday’s strip, but I was pretty tired from RCCC last weekend and ended up falling asleep and accidentally turning off the computer while I was working on the strip, losing an almost completed strip in the process. I recolored the whole thing this evening. Very frustrating!

Called it! She’s not interested in escorting Modest safely to her family. She’s got ulterior motives!
Mermaids are all jerks.
Not *all* ofs them. Jus’… all the ones that has appeareds in the comic so fars. >@.@<
You survived it all. It’s posted. We are happy! Consider it a job well done!
Con’s are a real drain. I don’t even go to many any more, just ‘cuz they wear me out and I’m on slack time!
Jenny’s all over the map.
Ew, gross, I’m not your friend.
Helpfully dries clothes.
All happy about mermaid traditions.
Annnnnnnd abandonment.
Do they have psychiatrists in Yeld?
Well, there’s Mr. Stabby and Mr. Clubby. And some people develop a Mr. Bitey.
I’ve yet to see a single mermaid in Yeld that wasn’t a total sociopath.
There is the yellow mermaid that none of the others like. She actually has a job.
Mermaid magic must’ve recharged.
So mermaid magic must’ve recharged, then…
So does this mean her Mermaid Magic has recharged? Or does it just work better in Yeld?
Sorry ’bout that. I’ve been having trouble posting on several sites and thought this was more of the same.
No problem.
I think it’s just a negotiation tactic: Jenny wants Modest to un-statue her friend, so she’s using this threat of abandonment to get her to (somehow) do that.
But IDK if the snakes can, or if there’s some other way.
Jenny did talk about Modest having magic & needing to learn how to use it.
