That whole plan of we’ll all go down the toilet together holding hands when she’d already told Modest to let go was honesty?
That has yet to be seen… if she is sincere, then I love this sincerity too, but I feel like she’s still got a whole lot more up her sleeve.
Wait, so she’s never going back? Cue Jake somehow starting a rescue operation.
This is where we all remind ourselves that this story begins with Modest at school telling the class what transpired two weeks earlier…
And looking so grown up when she does it. He body language at the start of the chapter screams that something happens that forced her to grow up a bit.
I know, right? It seems odd Jake would set up the whole story as a flashback, and then implement a splash page for the story’s title. That would imply that this story has 2 titles. It also means that we already know how this story ends.
I can’t put my finger on it but there’s just something about Jenny I like.
