– I’ll be back in Seattle for Sakuracon on the 18th, 19th and 20th. Find me at the Cel*Style booth (SP18). I’ll have Medusa stuff and the full line of Cel*Style games and comics, including the last few copies of Mermaid Hunters!
– I’ll also be at the West Linn Public Library mini-con in Portland for Free Comic Book day on Saturday, May 3rd. Come by and say hi!
So, my son was reading this comic over my shoulder and asked, “Is Medusa a snake?” to which I answered, “Yes, sort of.” I scrolled to the top, to the image of her in the header to which he said, “But she’s cute.” Not sure they have to be mutually exclusive, but you now have an 8 year old fan.
Oh, well that’s nice.
That seems to be the appropriate response to finding that out.
I’m wondering if she even knows what marriage is. I feel like that’s the next question.
Does she even know what that means?

Nobody knows what that means. Not until it’s too late 🙂
I can’t believe that they are married. That’s why my face looked like that.
Of course, does she really think he can earn a living with his cooking show?
Modest has a look between scared and betrayed…
That’s a pretty good way of not having to clear up the mess you made. I’ll have to try that.
Does Medusa even know what that word means?
I’m sure it’s shown up in a few games she’s played.
And I thought I was the only one who reacted like that!
I like the simple fact that this woman who has never seen Modest before is in no way weirded out by the fact that there’s a little snake girl running around her house.
Yes, I do know what the word marriage means
Really now, so what does it mean?
In fairness, the usual symbol and visible sign that a person is married is a gold ring worn on the left hand… which, uh… how shall we put this?
Charles seems to have lost his wedding ring, but I think Sarah might forgive him for it.
