– I’ll be in Seattle for Geek Girl Con this weekend. Find me at table 609. I’ll have some new prints to sell!
– I get a lot of Medusa questions, a lot of “Why does she like Chocodiles so much?” or “How does she poop?” or “How come no one ever freaks out when they see her?” Now you can ask Medusa yourself! Post your questions on my Patreon page here (you don’t have to be a Patreon backer) and I’ll draw Medusa answering them! Should be fun!
– My friends at Tinderbox (makers of the sweet Modest Medusa dice) have just launched a Kickstarter for their brand new board game Length X Wit. It’s really nice looking! Please check it out and help them meet their goal!
You know, I had a conversation recently about human/reptile hybrids like Naga, Naiads, and Draconians.
When people ask if / when these people go to the restroom, I have to ask myself if I want to go into detail about hemipenii and cloaca, and figure the average mammal (human) doesn’t want to hear or think about it. *Laughs*
I feel so bad for her in this one. She looks so forlorn!
There are parts of the internet that do not agree with you when it comes to reproductive/eliminatory details of human/reptile hybrids. But then I think those parts of the internet probably do no qualify as “average humans”, either.
Ehh, “average”.
I would imagine she would poop the same way snakes do… But what I really want to know is do zombies poo?
Every time I handle a snake, it poos on me.
Nah, they just kinda eat until they explode. They don’t digest.
No. They also do not process food. The instinct to eat is there, but the digestive system does not have anything going there. Their digestive juices from when they were alive may work for the start of their zombie-life, so maybe they would poop then, but after they go through it the food would build up in their stomachs. …They would probably poop in their pants, anyway.
Jake a little late to backtrack! Your first answer was an uh-huh not an uh-uh. And that Nooooo read really really forced 😛
Pokemon are monsters too. It’s not that bad.
There are two types of monsters: The ones who try to hurt and kill people, and whom people in turn try to hurt and kill; and the ones who wake you up at 2am. Obviously, Medusa is not one of the former, and doesn’t know about the latter, hence her confusion.
Pretty sure it’s 2pm, what with him taking a nap because dead tired n the sun being out.
Luckily, she’s not the latter, either, because I think this is actually at 2 PM.
In short, there are people who look like monsters, and monsters that look like people. Based on what I’ve seen, Medusa is the former, rather the latter.
Then again, there is also Pokemon (short for Pocket Monsters) so… I guess there are three types 😛
You messed up, Jake.
Can I ask a question for the Ask Medusa here? I really want to know how she keeps her scales always looking so pretty! It can’t be easy given how often snakes shed. Also, what do the others do with all the sheddings?
I’ll pass the question along.
Are we going with textbook definition? Because even that has so many different conflicting meanings not all of which are negative. One even says she needs to be imaginary which she clearly isn’t. Anyway Modest isn’t a monster in my book.
Oh Medusa, don’t you know that people like Jake and I will agree to almost anything when groggy? It’s how I got stuck with dishes from my roommate for a month
By the way I’m guessing you’re like that Jake, since a lot of people seem to be
Uh huh.
“Maybe if you’re real good and eat your Chocodiles, you’ll grow up to be a big strong monster just like your mother…”
smooooth
Keystone Light- Smooth so you don’t have to be. 🙂
Modest, in Utah I’ve never seen Chocodiles… but I’ve seen red velvet cookies. That’s just as good, right?
I suppose she is a ‘monster’. But in her homeland? Humans are ‘monsters’ there, eh? It’s just a matter of perspective.
Now chainsaw unicorn? He’s a monster most everywhere he goes… 😮
…
Best answer: “You’re a sweet, cuddly monster!”
What are your favourite Pokemon? (from my daughter, age 4)
Sorry, wrong spot. 🙁
Answered!
If she’s ever seen Sesame Street, she should know that “monster” isn’t necessarily a negative thing.
Jaaaake … Help her already! ! Can’t you see how badly she’s hurting?
Smoove Jake, Smoove…
PS: I am aware I misspelled Smooth, but there’s no Edit function to correct it.
