– Thats Jake’s Mom, by the way.
– Nick and I will be at Salt lake Gaming Con in SLC Utah on June 28th-30th! We’ll have a booth selling Modest Medusa and Yeld stuff, we’ll be running games of Yeld (here’s our schedule) and we’ll be hosing a panel on game design . Please come and see us!
I think you’re missing a word in the second panel in the first bubble, between ‘since’ and ‘moved’.
Ugh. Yes, I am.
Can we eat in your yard because… there’s a ghost inside your house and we don’t want to accidentally let it out.
Ooh! Street street. They got a nice deli there.
Hey, I never realized he used to live on STREET
I couldn’t remember the name of the street.
I am reminded of a significant thoroughfare in Tampa called, simply, “Boulevard”
I tried to Google it just now to refresh my memory and… yeah. That’s pretty much the definition of un-Googleable
Ha. Yeah. We had a Court Ct here in Portland when I was a kid. It doesn’t seem to be here anymore.
Well yeah, it’s much nicer than ROAD.
Jake live son Road now.
So, wait. Jake was the only one to see the ghost? And coincidentally happens to be the one who gets Modest dropped onto his lap.
…Yeah, I’m calling it. Either some destiny stuff is going down or we’re going be taking a modest trip into some time travel shenanigans.
Its funny, I never even thought about there being a larger reason why Modest ended up with Jake. in my real life weird stuff happens to me all the time. People always say “I can’t believe all the weird stuff that happens to you.” So of course Jake saw a ghost and found a medusa in his toilet and got kidnapped to a magical world (and more that you all don’t even know about). No big deal.
Then there is whatever the deal with her teacher (whose name I forget) is. I tracked down the strip “Parent Teacher Conference” whereJake says she has experience with things like this. And I recall another, which I can’t find, suggesting she is un-ageing. And Jake tried to date her.
We’ll get back to Ms. Booth and her weird stuff eventually.
“Jake’s mom isn’t homeless, but she lives on the Street.” How’s that for a bedtime paradox? And yes, I know they don’t live there any more.
Jake didn’t live their either, but his siblings did. their “from the Street”. Very “Street Smart”
