This all makes me wonder whether this other world is as different as I initially suspected, or if it has more regular contact with the human world than I suspected.
oh, no! not my pokemons! gotta save the pokemons! lol! they must get a lot of other world guests to know what a ds is. that was an expensive bed and breakfast.
I’m attempting to create my own web comic and I need to know how to create an uber cute character like medusa is it the big wide eyes and general innocence?
She’s mistaken. She is only five, after all. If you look back at the strip it comes from, it’s a direct visual reference to the Force Gems from Spirit Tracks.
Definitely a Force Gem (the Triforce is smooth, not a tetrahedron), though not necessarily from Spirit Tracks. It could be from the multiplayer mode of Phantom Hourglass, or it could be coated in rock like the ones on Death Mountain in Four Swords Adventure.
I’m confused… one strip back she says “cash only, no trades” and then the next strip she takes a DS in trade? How about a little continuity between strips?
No, not my Pokémons!
You can take my DS when you pry it from my COLD DEAD HANDS.
Make that ‘COLD DEAD HAIR’.
Not even a Chocodile? That’s harsh.

You’re just underestimating Nintendo’s marketing.
its ok, give her the ds, just don’t give her the power cord and eject the game and run away with the next opportunity hehehe
Part of an arm? Creeeeeee-pyyyyyyy.
And Michelle’s about to get bit. Take a trade before it’s too late.
It’s probably Charles’ that was cut off by the chainsaw unicorn. So it’s not creepy.
I figured that it was part of Charles’ arm. That she decided to pack it and take it to Yeld with her is what’s so creepy about it.
oh yeha looks like they like her ds and wont allow it to be taken!!
Heh, Michelle knows how to turn a situation to her favor.

Yeah I was wondering how an yeldian knew what a ds is
No te creo la cantidad de cachureo que anda trayendo Medusa en la cartera… se parece a mi. Y proteger los Pokemon lo es todooooo!!!!!!!!
Medusa carries all of those things on her bag? she’s like me! and protecting the Pokemons is everything!
lol did Medusa keep Charles severed arm or something?
“Zone of the Enders on PS2? Pass!”
That made me laugh out loud. Thank you!
I also find it amusing how she knows what a DS is.

It;s the big mouth.
Oh my character has a big mouth and a long tongue and some cannibalistic tendencies

Well if things were flushed down the toilet has it was once said.. makes sense in one way they would know what a DS is LOL
She wants your pokemons? BITE HER BITE HER NOW.
Heh all I can add right now is what the others already said… how in HECK does she know what a DS is? XD
you know i dont remember them ever asking for a room the innkeeper jsut gave them one unsolicited
PART OF AN ARM!? TAKE THE DEAL!!!
Which piece of the Triforce does she have?
It’s actually a Force Gem from Spirit Tracks. But it’s an easy mistake to make.
she said triforce, not force gem, so i’m pretty sure it is a triforce piece.

Wisdom, obviously. I mean, just look at her priorities here.
Danger Will Robinson! Danger! Last panel Snake hair, Fangs out! FANGS ARE OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You no take the Medusa’s Pokémons!
One must really ask, is a DS worth being made into Stone? Some would say yes, but how would you play it?!
Who refuses a chocodile? She must be crazy to do so!
I agree. Chocodiles > Gold!
I wish Florida had chocodiles. 🙁
A DS instead of 5 gold? That’s not too bad.
Passing up Zone of the Enders? The fool! I like that game, and it’s really hard to find.
Yeld isn’t your daddy’s fantasy realm.
DUH CRAZY BIATCH MUST DIEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! And after that, we’ll take a nice chocodile break. *nom nom nom*
The snake hair (last panel) agrees!!

Turns out she didn’t want their cash either. She was swayed by consumer electronics.
Ha! Of course the DS!
my pokemons!
my cabin!
