I’m sure you all noticed that there was no MM update yesterday.

I got back from my mom’s house yesterday morning after a week staying with her while she recovered from surgery. She’s doing well, btw. My plan was to come into work and get a new MM page done. I’ve already written the next several pages. However, as soon as I got home I became violently ill. Just out of nowhere! I spent the day sleeping and feeling light headed. This morning (afternoon, really) I was fine, but had to spend the day running errands. I didn’t get into work until almost 7pm… and then realized I had left all of my drawing tools at my mom’s house.

Sigh.

So instead of a late MM strip today I think I’ll have a double strip for you on Monday. But here’s a new “Late again??!” colored by Annette. Thanks, Annette!

In the meantime I can spend the evening inking some Ghost Kiss pages.

On Monday I posted that since the Pandemic my finances were in bad shape, and my monthly income had dipped below my ability to pay my basic bills. I am floored that so many of you immediately signed up to become patrons, or increased your existing pledges, or sent me tips through Ko-fi. Thank you all so much! I am very grateful for your support. Things will still be tight, but thanks to your patronage I won’t have to worry about basic expenses, and I can spend most of my time working on my own art and comics for you to enjoy, instead of looking for freelance work and commissions that eat up all my time. I’ll still be doing some of that of course, but far less than I thought I’d need to. That’s such a huge deal for me.
