I don’t think I’ve ever done a Thanksgiving pic. Its not a really important holiday to me, and I know that a lot of readers aren’t American anyway. I might do one next year if I think of something fun.
I’ll trade annoying for racists spamming comments to harass people here, which is what we had before I started moderating. Its not ideal, but its the best I can do.
Fair enough. As a Canadian, we have our Thanksgiving a month before, so seeing TG comic material in November just seems like they’re playing catch-up. 😛
Kidding aside, fiction is more broadly identifiable (and therefor appealing) to readers if the real world location is left unspecified (or at least, not often mentioned.) Could be these wacky adventures are the sort of thing I can imagine happening in MY home town? No? Fun to think it so, though.
That. . . is a Superliner car, not a Cascades one. Which means that they were riding on the Coast Starlight, and that it should be nighttime right now.
I know I already responded to you by email, but I’ll leave this post up so others can also see.
In case you don’t know (and why would you?) I approve every comment here before its posted. I mostly do this to make sure I see every comment and to weed out occasional spam. In theory, its also to moderate, although I’ve only every had to delete 3 or 4 comments (which were super racist and attacking other commenters).
Anyway, if you post a comment here and its not approved within an hour it means I’m probably either asleep or out of town. Don’t worry, i’ll get around to you eventually!
Just like any child: “There’s something exciting and fun to go do, so I’m fine! Hurry! Let’s go do the fun thing!”
That’s kids for ya! Too excited to realize she’s in pain! XD
Also: What, no Thanksgiving pic? 🙁

Kind of annoying, though, not being able to see my comment right away.

I agree. While the comic takes place in Portland, I’ve tried to be unspecific enough that it remains relatable.
Mind the gap.
Mind the g… Okay, well, nevermind then.
It’s a good thing they are there. Falling off a moving train probably hurts more than falling off a stationary one.
She might have just jumped off a moving train too, if she saw something she liked.

I know, I know. But I couldn’t find a good reference for the right train.
Where’s my comment? I posted a comment last night/this morning, and it’s gone! D:<

Oh, okay! 😅 Glad I’m not the only one. Also, I replied to your last email before checking again, so you can just ignore that email. lol
Typical kid, too excited to realize she’s in pain. xD
