I was actually going to criticize that before I saw the movie intending to add, “unless Thanos coincidentally caused them all to disappear for that five years,” but Marvel Studios foresaw my sarcasm and wrote it in. Curse you, Marvel Studios, you’ve won this round, but the war isn’t over yet.
