The title is a reference to Barry Deutsch’s first Hereville graphic novel, How Mirka Got her Sword. I colored the book, and I’m looking forward to coloring the 2nd one whenever Barry gets done with it.
The Jetcity Comic Show was pretty fun. I met a lot of cool people, saw some friends I haven’t seen for awhile and gave away a lot of Chocodiles.
The big news that I was hoping to share on Friday is that I’ve decided on a printer for Modest Medusa Season 1, and I expect to send them the files for the book by the end of this month. The bad news is that I don’t expect to have books back until late November (or possibly even early December). I’ll make sure to keep you all posted on the progress. The good news is that i was able to ad an extra surprise to the book. I don’t want to say what it is yet, but I think you’ll be really knocked out when you finally get your hands on the book!
That sounds like good news. Of course, the bad news is that I have no idea what state I will be in or even where I will be when that happens.

It makes me wonder what other references you will make in Season 2. Metal Gear Solid Modest Medusa would be funny especially when fighting Chainsaw Unicorn.

Yay on choosing a printer! And Marah’s sword is awesome. One quick thing though, I’m moving sometime in November (not sure exactly when, or even where yet) so the address I provided via the Kickstarter will be wrong about the time you get them books… Is there anyway I can contact you/fix that once I know the actual address? I really don’t want to miss getting my book, it will be much to awesome. (And the office at my current apartment complex is horrible at letting us know we have packages. I’m worried it will get delivered here and I’ll never see it! 🙁
