She wants to take on big girl responsibilities but doesn’t like to be called big.
“I’m not fat, I just have iron armor for skin.” 🙂
“I’m not the most popular domestically, but I’m big in Yeld!”
How strong/durable are the Carloses and possibly Pi-Rats in general? We see them survive injuries that would kill a human (falling cannons, falling boats, blasts of flame) but the first two seem to be for comedic effect. Captain Jaspar seems unfazed by losing his hand, continuing his combat banter almost uninterrupted. Carlos (The striped shirt one) is able to slam into Kerrigor with enough force to cause him to release the Captain even though Kerrigor seems to several times his weight.
They’re kind of cartoon characters, compared to everyone else. Although thats a fine line in this comic, I guess.
I think they’re more durable than a normal human, and probably surprisingly strong for their size. But also, all three of them are professional pirates and seasoned combatants, so hey have a lot of experience, and can use hat to stand up to enemies a lot tougher than they are, at least for a short time.
She is a big boy now.
And to whoever got that, congratulations.
I’m sure he only meant that you were bigger than any of his crew members are, Mariah, not that you needed to lose weight, which you don’t. You’re a growing girl, after all.
Well, big enough to carry stuff 🙂
Heh heh, “a Carlos”. Perhaps even “a carlos”. Just how many there are on the boat?
Just the two. We’ll finally get into the history of the Carlos name later this season.
Big is relative.
Less relative is your relatives are big.
