It’s probably asleep. I think a lot of the time one or two of the snakes are just hanging limp and asleep.
Does that mean that sometimes they’re awake when Medusa is asleep?

I remember when Evel Knievel had his own cartoon. His sidekick qas getting kidnapped, but since this was such a regular occurrence for him he made the kidnappers wait while he got his toothbrush.
