– Denny Reese posted a nice little review of Modest Medusa over at Indie Comic Review. It includes a bit about how “Her lack of knowledge about the human world leads her to unknowingly commit crime” , which I thought was pretty funny. It inspired the title for today’s strip.
– – My next monthly Patreon live draw thing will be happening this coming Saturday. I’ll be posting the time and link with the Friday update. Remember, you don’t have to be a Patreon backer to check these things out. Come and hang out for a few hours and chat while I draw. She could be right to worry. As I remember it, the way her Mom went wasn’t so much a conscious choice…
That depends… It wasn’t much of a choice in Yeld.
it wasn’t her choice to turn into a semi-emotionless snake but it was her choice to eat her children, and when she was talking to jake about it she looked like she was enjoying thinking about it, if not enjoying the memory of doing it
This is true. We don’t know WHY she chose to do this except it had something to do with the Prince.
Well, at least she is realizing her mistake and coming clean with it. Now, you just have to find another phone, or see if you can get it back.
She wants to eat your… Chocodiles! *Scare chord*
*Music from the movie Psycho!*
*Bwoooommmp!*
Hey! Chocodiles for a phone is fair trade. That’s not a crime that’s commerce.
What do you bet Jake is so excited about the chocodiles the phonies kind of secondary? I mean, he DOES seem like a man who has his priorities straight.
If somebody irks me, can I rip their spine out?
No! You punch or smack them instead! You make your point, and the person gets to live.
Apology accepted. 😀
On accident, she says. I love her, she’s so charming! But only as long as she does that to Jake and not me. I can see that, though. See someone has all these chocodiles to trade and you’re walking along and trip and boom the guy has the phone. He’s running away leaving all the chocodiles! Could happen.
“on accident” xD
Well, I mean, if it was a LOT of chocodiles…
As long as you share them chocodiles, we good.
Those eyes in the third panel… xD
Anyways, have a good one on Saturday!. Wont be able to join in this time, due to work. Next time!
I have to say, this is probably one of my favorite plots of this comic.
No disasters, no epic quests, no evil villains…
Just Jake and Modest talking, like a Dad and his Daughter. No real frills, just a conversation with them being true to themselves.
I <3 this so badly.
