The Modest Medusa Coloring Book Kickstarter is going great! We’re well over 200% funded by our 3rd day! For this Kickstarter I’m offering both a coloring book and some cheap original art. Remember, the Kickstarter only lasts till Saturday morning, so don’t wait too long to contribute!
– We’ve already met out first stretch goal, so everyone who contributed at least $10 will get a free Modest Medusa mini comic! We’re very close to reaching our second stretch goal, which is a brand new t-shirt for just $8!
– Here’s some new art and one of the new strips from the book. The coloring book contains 5 new strips created just for this project!
Hahaha. 1) I see Jake and Medusa doing a Wile E. Coyote over the hole in the next page. 2) My daughters totally think crayons are food, though I’ve mostly broken them of the habit, so I can understand Medusa’s confusion.
Yep, Andy. Most kids have to figure that out. Medusa just had a deprived childhood. Deprived of Chocodiles and crayons–until recently.
I also wanted to say how cute she is trying to eat the crayon.
tell me, is this coloring book an ingenious way to pre-use the line art from the yield book?
I wish I gad thought of that.
Moonlight bridge would come in handy right about now.
the Vamp. Prince and Oath Breaker are awesome! they must be put in a fantasy videogame now. -_-
They’ll feature heavily in the upcoming Yeld rpg.
What?!?! Yeld has a rpg. I did not know that…
Why is their always some hole in the castle blocking your exit?!?!!?!?
The Yeld rpg is a work in progress. I’m hoping to release it early next year.
Hey Jake, are there contribution options for people without credit cards as well?
Unfortunately no. The coloring book will of course be available after the kickstarter through my store and at conventions, but I believe the only way to contribute to the kickstarter is with a credit card. Sorry. Maybe ask a friend with a credit card to contribute for you? Or grab a pre-paid card>
I think indiegogo supports paypal, if this helps. For future projects maybe?
Paypal isn’t much of a solution for people who don’t have a credit card since it’s pretty difficult to get a paypal account without one.
No, actually it is quite easy, at least wqhen I got mine it was
It was when I got mine as well, but I’ve been told things have changed. Actually, from what I understand the problem isn’t getting the account, it’s that you have to have a credit card on file to really do much with it.
All I know is, I have my Paypal account linked to my bank account, and my old credit cards are suspended. Ah well.
Will we be able to buy the downloadable version of the book?
Hmm… I hadn’t considered making the download buyable. But yeah, sure.
Jump! Even if you miss the ledge, it looks like there’s a shaft right below it that you’ll land in instead.
Last panel Modest and Jake were in the back, I don’t see any medusa in front of them, did they all fall in the hole?
No, Modest and Jake just pushed ahead.
Modest and Jake must run fast to be able to get from the back of the group to the front between comics π
Aww, I’m bummed I never have the funds to get cool things from my favorite webcomics.
Still, at least I got the main story… right? |:/
Maybe they WILL make it over the hole tho, considering those “sheep” can stretch… and divide.
Yeah, the main story is all right here on the site.
Maybe that hole is just a painting on the floor ?
Why do I suddenly have that urge to watch old Indy-Jones movies ? π
I do hope jake looked at the hole first, and judged the distance and amoebasheep jumping ability. Otherwise, he’s in for a nasty surprise.
The blue one tastes like a blueberry pie! Tart, yet crusty.
Anyway they can just hop to that wooden beam and bounce to the other side.
There’s no time to over think, as Jake has the right idea XD
This is one time when “the gravity of the situation” is something to give your utmost attention to…
Depending on how big the hole is, the sheep could jump halfway across, and then they could sacrifice the sheep for the double-jump, yoshi-style!
Wonder if that tunnel thing in the hole us at all signifigant…
It’s not. Sorry.
