This isn’t a jab but I’m still trying to figure out how the heck that crossbow functions with the limbs pitched like that and the string apparently going through some sort of eyelet. It looks cool though.
Wasn’t the path through the cave used to shake off the vampires? If they try to follow through there.. they could just put some heavy stuff on the hole on this side so they can’t get out this way.

I wish I could find my reference. Its based on a real crossbow. I can’t say Im really sure how it was supposed to work though.

I don’t know if that was the Lady’s intent, but the cave would probably be a choke point at least.
She SHOULD mentioned that the vampires were already searching for them, but yes, it’s likely she lead the vampires straight to them.
