– It seems like I’ve been running about a day behind all month, and no matter what I do I can’t quite catch up. I’ve been posting pages a day late pretty consistently. I’ve decided to skip this week’s Friday update and take the day off instead. I’ll be back on Monday with a new strip. Instead, here’s Beedusa. We never got a real good look at Modest’s Halloween costume, but here’s teh whole thing.
This is the art for the November sticker of the month for Modest Medusa Patreon backers. Patreon helps me pay my bills and allows me to focus on making art. It is, without any exaggeration, a lifesaver, and the support of my patrons means the world to me. You can find out more about Patreon here.
– The auction for the Modest Medusa meets Groot and Rocket ooriginal art ends on Monday morning. All money for teh auction goes toward paying the shipping costs for my last kickstarter (the project ended up costing more than expected). You can check out the auction here. I’ll be listing another illustration for auction on Tuesday.
She looks so cute and happy. ^^
Cool snake costume!
I’d say Modest is the bee’s knees, but alas she’s … I was going to say an invertebrate, but I’m pretty sure she has a spine. Is there a five-dollar biology word for lacking locomotive appendages?
Legless.
She’s so adorable!
There’s the problem. The snakes have wings, but Medusa doesn’t. No wonder people didn’t recognize her as a bee.
Now because of my obsession with the anime RWBY and going head over heels into the fandom and shipping, whenever someone mentions bees, I immediately think of the ship name Bumbleby (yes it’s spelled like that). It ships Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long. It’s yuri, AND I LOVE IT!
Am I the only one how want’s a Medusa tattoo?
Bee-utiful!
Them bees are all gazing at the candy bucket – wonder what they are thinking! Hive mentality?
