First, sorry about the missing Friday update. I was still getting over being sick, and the whole thing got away from me. I’m planning to do something later this week to make up for it.
Second, I have the advance copies of the Modest Medusa Season 1 book in my hand. I’m still waiting for the full order, but the last delivery estimate I heard was around the 20th. In the meantime I’m getting myself set up to mail out the books as soon as they arrive.
Anyway, check out the video for a look at the book and the special surprise I’ve been keeping a secrecy since the Kick starter ended!

Even though they aren’t in a game shop, the phrase, “This bacon’s for my hair,” is still going on the list of things you only hear in a game shop.

I was disappointed my credit card fraud wasn’t cleared in time for the kickstarter but I can’t wait to order my copy of the book – it looks beautiful!

That really looks amazing and more than worth the cover price. So poop jokes and smoking mermaids get you a Teen rating but no worries about dismemberment via unicorn or half naked snake girls.

Bacon’s good medusa is adorable anyone figure out her voice yet
In the program for a production of Patience that I once saw, it said that the way to play the role of Patience was as innocently (I read it as naive) as possible. After the scene of Medusa stanfing with a net over her head having to confirm that the MB’s weren’t her friends I think it fits. In my head, she now sounds like a younger version of the actress who played the role.
So does the bacon start turning to stone when the snakes bite it and if so does does the medusa have rocks in her head?

I’ll admit, you got a good chuckle out of me.
Medusa’s snakes are venomous and it’s the venom that turns victims to stone… No need to bite the bacon, snakes just swallow it whole so bacon doesn’t turn to stone 🙂
