No, he just fainted.
I’ve heard there’s a rule of thumb for modern character deaths in comics. If they don’t: Disintegrate, vaporize, fade from existence, or die in some horrible manner on screen, they’re probably alive.
I mean, getting beat up by a giant snake and then electrocuted by a pokemon is pretty horrible.
but its not, “eaten alive by flowing river of insects” horrible.
Still the reader is gonna assume not-dead until told otherwise.
and yet the Villain rises for one last attack…or so it seems most of the time.
You heard it hear first, folks! Electrocuted. Electricity + Executed. He is dead. Just ignore that Electrocuted took on a less fatal definition in the past decades
Yeah, but the real question is this- is he alive enough to get back up before they flee?
Where’s auntie? You’d think they’d look at her.
Maybe, but if it were me I’d probably still be in “focus on the guy trying to murder me” mode.
yeah they need to do that as soon asap
You. Yes, you, with the stabby thing. You better make sure.
If he were just unconscious he’d have those little eye-spirals pokemon who lose get. He’s dead.
Quick, summon a Poke ball.
Can you imagine that creature coming out of the ball
Or a wood chipper.
Oh, hey, he’s got one normal ear!
Bayonet the corpse. It’s the only way to be sure they aren’t feigning death.
Fall down, eyes open: Dead.
Fall down, eyes closed: K.O.
“Is he dead?”
“Does it matter?”
Stab him a few more times to be sure.
Check for a pulse. Pacific Rim style.
it’s kinda sweet that she was going to defend her sisters by getting into hand to hand combat.
My prediction, and I hope I’m wrong: he’s faking
